New Teacher Essay

Welcome to New Media Technology Charter School. My name is Nigel Bundick and I am in 8th grade. I think this is a good school and I am happy you choose this school. There are a few things I would like you to know about me before you come to this school. Most of them are good but some other things are not all to good.

I have a few things that you should know about me. One thing is that I enjoy hands on projects and when i do them I usually get better grades. I also enjoy reading. I am a pretty good student all around but sometimes I get lazy and dont do all my work. I talk sometimes during class but I dont get loud when I do. My parents like when teachers call to tell how im doing in class.
I hope you have learened somethings about me. Most of the stuff u have learened is good but somethings are not all to good. I hope you have a great time teaching at the school!

Presedent Obama's Plan for civil rights

I agree with Barack Obama's policy on civil rights. One thing he states is that there should be equal pay for equal work for women and racial minorities. He will also try to expand hate crime protection. Somthing else that Obama has promised is to end racial profiling. All of these things are important because it will stop certain races from not being able to get certain jobs and the same pay as Caucasian males.

Big papa (by biggie smalls) anylasis

The song Big papa is very negative. It talks about drinking and sex. most of the verse is talking about having sex with women. There are no positive parts in the first verse or choris. It's a horrible song with nothing of importance being stated in it. The second and third vereses are just as bad. Basiclly the song is talking about sex and nothing else.

Hello/Goodbye (Uncool) lyrics by Lupe Fiasco

(Choris) Hello darkness, hello sunshine Hello not at all, hello all the time Hello, nowhere hello, obvlivion Hello, goodbye
Hello darkness hello sunshine Hello not at all hello all the time Hello nowhere hello obvlivion Hello goodbye
Hello darkness... hello helloHello hello hello

(Verse 1) All in the ghetto the weather is better than ever I hope it never ends I hope it lasts forever But when it does, we can all pretend that is better Than its ever been Lie to ourselves like the sky to rebel And its well and its fine and its fine if it fell And you can refine the storyline if you survive to retell We are targets

(Choris)

(Verse 2) Yes and everythings gonna be fine fo Fine said things gonna be all ok Said just dont breathe the air
He just sits and waits for them to kick in the door He once was a hero they dont love him no more This past, everytime a toe hits the floor His gift for not fighting another mans war And if they can get their hands on the mask That he wore on his face They can put somebody else in his place And restore the state the illusion that hes safe The faith that being enslaved is so great As gas fills the room and watches destory everything around him He stands to find himself surrounded By thousands of soldiers that he once trained And never missed their targets, darkness

(Choris)

(Verse 3) Pleased to make your acquaintance Salutations Konnichiwa Hello everyone... how are you i'm doin fine

(Verse 4)Hello darkness hello sunshine Dampen it

I'm... cool

This song is not negitive. There is no profanity, there is also no sexual content. In the beginning of the first verese Lupe Fiasco is talking about things being good in the ghetto and he hopes it will always stay like that. The next part says that when it doesn't stay like that we could lie to ourselves and pretend it is good.

I'm not completely sure what the second verse is talking about, but I would guess that its talking about is some guy that people used to think of as a hero turning bad and the government looking for him.
